Is there parking?

There is a Pay and Display car park next to theatre with limited parking, and please note that Council parking and Blue Badge Permits cannot be used in this car park.

All the money raised from this car park goes to the theatre for improvements and secure the future of the venue.

  • Charges apply: 8am to 8pm, including Sundays and bank holidays.
  • Free parking for 15 minutes is allowed if purchasing tickets from the theatre Box Office.
  • Please see car park tariff boards for further information.

Can I get a refund on tickets?

Tickets are non-refundable, however, always let the box office know if you are unable to attend and they will try their best to assist you. Season tickets for the Summer Play Festival can be exchanged for other evenings as long as they are in the Play Season, this is one advantage of the ticket type. If a show is cancelled a full refund will be given.

Can I take my baby to the theatre?

For the comfort of your children and the other patrons at the theatre, we'd recommend only bringing children over 5 to family appropriate shows, younger children can struggle with the length of productions. We aim to have recommended age guidance on our shows (where possible) to help parents make the best decision for themselves and their children.

When is the theatre open?

Opening times vary show to show. For the Play Festival, the bar is open one hour before the show. Other shows open 45 minutes before the show. If in doubt, ask a member of staff about the show you are watching.

Do you do concessions?

Concession prices vary show to show, you will be able to see any concessions offered when booking a ticket online. If in the box office, or on the phone, ask a member of staff and they will be more than happy to help.
