Lady Bracknell's Legacy

presented by Connie Prosser

Written & Performed by James Pellow

with music by John Griswold

Devonia deRudge is a self-styled 'Grande Dame' of the English stage. "I played Lady Bracknell you know.....my performance stopped the show." Naturally cheerful, Freddie Farnsworth is immaculately and colourfully dressed. The friendship that has developed between these two is as charming as it is surprising. They both reflect on what might've been and it's this that somehow unites them.

James plays both characters in this poignant and witty piece. It was first staged at The Union Theatre, London, under the title "The Gathering", in 2015.
