Sidmouth’s Changing Climate : Past, Present and Future

Brian Golding is a Sidmouth resident and a former Director of Weather Science at the Met Office. His presentation will start in the 19th century when records first began to be kept to support Sidmouth’s claim to be a health resort, competitive with anything on the continent.

Brian will then describe the current climate and the changes that have occurred already, moving on to the changes that we can expect in the future and how we can adapt to them, focusing on some of the less certain aspects that may require radical adaptation measures.
