LIVING TOGETHER

by Alan Ayckbourn

Desperate for a break, worn-down frazzled Annie who looks after her crabby, bed-ridden mother day in, day out, decides to escape with her lover Norman, who is married to her sister Ruth, for a dirty weekend away in, of all places, the decidedly unglamorous Sussex town East Grinstead. The weekend develops into a disaster. Ayckbourn presents with biting wit and poignancy a tragedy of the quiet, slow crushing of spirit that comes from unhappy relationships.
